Once contact is made, our fully qualified, insured and SEAI registered BER assessor will come to your home to carry out the assessment. At a time that suits you!
Assessment typically take 1 hour but can take up to 90mins for more complex and larger homes.

During the assessment the assessor will gather various different types of information including:
- Internal dimensions of your home.
- Dimensions of all windows and doors.
- Insulation thickness.
- Heating systems.
- Ventilation systems.
- Lighting.
- Solar
Photographs will be during the assessment as evidence for the SEAI. We can ensure these photographs will be fully compliant with GDPR policies.

Once all data has been recorded we will then start inputting the data into the system to see what BER rating the house has.
If the house is very close to a higher rating, we will contact you to suggest tweaking some small items in the house to achieve the higher rating.
The BER cert will not be published until you are happy to do so.

Once agreed, the BER cert will be published via the SEAI and certification will be received.
